Vast Left-Wing Media Conspiracy Against Sarah Palin Proved

At the Tea Party Convention this weekend, the media reported Palin rhetorically asking Obama: "How's that hope-y, change-y stuff workin' out for you?" Obviously this cannot be true--anyone considering running for President of the U.S. would never stoop to such a low level of political discourse. Besides, Sarah would never say "you", it would by "ya" in the most folksy, Fargo-sounding way.

I believe Sarah Palin is running for President in 2012. However, I hope the level of discourse from serious candidates stays on the high road of ideas. This means elevating your audience to think about our world in new and challenging ways, not playing to the crowd for smirks of self-satisfaction.

As a progressive, this is my problem with my fellow progressives negative reactions to Sarah. They try for nods of smug superiority instead of trying to understand why the voters are so dissatisfied with the status quo.
