Now in the national consciousness, a fellow Alaskan (me) will explore the Palin phenomena. I intend to search for the positive common ground that is shared by both her supporters and detractors.
I got to hand it to Sarah--she is surfin' the huge wave of notoriety with some skill & cleverness. Note to her critics: everytime you pick on some trivial item, she gains more fans who flock to her defense from the "meanies" in the media. I maintain if you can't focus on her politics, then find something else to blab about. Most of what appears in the dizzying, so-called news cycle gets flushed.
I an a 25+ year resident of Alaska looking for the positive energy in the debate around our home-grown phenomena, Sarah Palin.
I am not a supporter of Sarah Palin's politics but the intensity of the debate surrounding her deserves careful attention and civil dialogue amongst all her supporters and detractors.
