Time for a new dialogue

In the coming years, leading up to the next presidential election, our former governor Sarah Palin is a force to be reckoned with. The heated (and often superficial) debates, both pro & con, have illustrated a deep division among the citizens of the U.S., if not the world. I am going to attempt to diffuse the rhetoric and explore the deeper meaning of the controversies surrounding the public figure Sarah Palin.

I believe the personal attacks on her and her family are completely missing the point that her message resonates with many people. I believe the reporting in the media often criticized by her supporters also misses the point that as a public figure, her political statements deserve scrutiny and analysis.

To move forward we need to stop demonizing each other and find the common ground where we can work together. We are all in this together and I want to accentuate the positive energies we bring to the table, not the negative energies that keep us stuck and closed to new possibilities.
